Special products such as swivel ring flanges, anchor flanges, pipe in pipe bulkheads, manifold blocks and riser flanges can be produced to order from within the company's ISO 9001 accredited manufacturing facility.
Swivel ring flanges can be supplied to both the API and ASME flange codes. Considerable design and development has been undertaken, which includes the full standard range of ASME swivel ring and weld neck flanges, extending the 1,500lb class to 30in NB and the 2,500lb class to 20in NB. The design covers the key sub-sea material grades usually selected for this type of product, i.e. high yield carbon steel / CRA, Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steel.
Extensive manufacturing procedure qualification testing has been carried out to support the development programme involving sacrificial testing to various customer-supplied project specifications and international standards such as DNV OS F101. The adopted design can be modified to suit clients' specific process design conditions such as pressure / temperature, additional external loadings, as well as bending moments where necessary.
To support the special product range W. Maass (UK) Ltd also stock large quantities of standard pipes and pipe fittings in Duplex and Super Duplex material grades.
