Our goal is to deliver solutions that ensure safe and robust plant operation, have a low implementation time and an effective energy usage. Solvina offers process and power services, as well as electronics, instrumentation and control solutions based on our diverse knowledge of power plant operation. Nuclear power plant uprate and modernisation projectsExperience from several uprate and retrofit projects has given us a solid foundation for future projects of this type. Solvina have staffed various positions within these projects such as commissioning leads, system engineers and process and automation designers. We can thus be sure to provide the customer with specialist skill within each affected area. Plant safety and quality managementSolvina also provides management services in the fields of plant safety and quality, both as parts of larger projects in connection to plant uprates and as continuous safety validation projects. The in-house developed management method Safety & Quality Assurance and Demonstration (SQAD) is used to improve transparency and communication throughout a project. This strengthens dialogs with suppliers and authorities. It also provides project managers with means of identifying problem areas early in the project cycle, which leads to improved quality and confidence in project completion within the specified frame. |  |
Systems control and analysis
Solvina improves existing process and power control systems and ensures correct control from the first start-up. Using plant simulation models we are able to design superior control strategies for efficient and robust control. Simulation models are also used to perform system analysis and validation. Combined with our broad field knowledge and system understanding we have been able to provide optimised solutions to a wide range of projects in nuclear power industry.
