The solution proposed by Faymonville and its supplier of lashing rings will be applied, with a very small number of exceptions, to the whole of the Faymonville range.

This solution consisted not only of developing new rings, but also of optimising the number of tie-down points on each type of semi-trailer. Each model in the range has been analysed at the level of lashing, according to the loads likely to be carried.

Up to now, most lashing rings have been placed in pockets integrated into the exterior frames of the vehicles. This solution had two disadvantages: firstly, the incline angle of the ring was limited, and secondly, the rings became useless for the tie-down of loads placed flat on the loading platform and which were wider than the vehicle. The new generation rings now cover an incline angle of 150°. This evolution will also enable optimal tie-down of all types of loads.

These rings now exist in two tie-down capacities: 5,000daN (5t) and 10,000daN (10t). They provide 100% of their capacity in all directions and are compatible with all types of hooks and straps. These are rings forged in quality steel used in the manufacture of lifting chains.

These rings are certified according to the European norm EN-12640 and are homologated by the TÜV.
