Norisol – Insulation, Scaffolding and Surface Treatment

Norisol is a multidiscipline company with its core competences within insulation, scaffolding, and surface treatment. Other business areas are removal of asbestos, accommodation work, design and outfitting, and facade contracts.

Our services within the above disciplines include supply of services, engineering, products and knowhow for energy conservation,
scaffolding and covering services, regulation of sound and noise, and fire protection.

Sheet metal cladding material and surface treatment

We work offshore and onshore for the oil and gas industry, at ship yards, refineries and power plants. Furthermore for the pharmaceutical industry, the food industry and the building industry.

At our workshops we prefabricate sheet metal cladding material for insulation, we design and produce custom-made furniture for ships and platforms, and our other special products are produced here.

High-pressure cleaning, sandblasting, coating, metallisation and cold-cutting

Norisol's scaffolding departments and departments for surface treatment have at their disposal scaffolding systems and machinery especially suited and approved for the specific task. For offshore projects we use the patented lightweight scaffolding system Alustar, but we also have the +8 scaffolding system which is extremely flexible and especially suited for the landbased industry. Surface treatment, which we mainly carry out for the oil and gas industry, includes high-pressure cleaning, sandblasting, coating, metallization and cold-cutting.

Our most important resource, however, is our specially trained personnel, who we keep updated with relevant courses. This means that our staff is extremely flexible, and a good part of our employees are able to work within several disciplines.

Norisol primarily operates in Norway, Denmark and Sweden, where we serve the markets from independent daughter companies. Through the Norwegian company we also have further activities in the English offshore sector. Our structure with decentralised divisions gives our customers the assurance they need that both large and small tasks can be solved with an optimum result. When needed, we are also able to allocate both the technical and the human resources to carry out large and technically demanding projects throughout Europe.
