Lintec Engineering - Protecting Plants from Wear Since 1987

Lintec Engineering's main focus is to protect its customer's plants from excessive wear. Wear causes high maintenance costs and unnecessary downtime-resulting in a loss of revenue. Our wear resistant applications will reduce maintenance costs and downtime, and increase plant performance. We select the best lining materials for the application parameters and the client's budget, thereby creating invaluable benefit for customers.

Lintec wear resistant materials

Lintec Engineering is constantly researching new and improved products for wear resistant applications. Products go through a vigorous quality control process which involves wear, density and dimensional testing. Lintec has the capability of both assessing and evaluating the products that is uses, and comparing the results to the company's firmly established quality standards.
Common wear products include:

  • Alumina and other oxide bonded ceramics
  • Carbides
  • Basalt
  • Concretes
  • Chrome iron
  • Hard-facing
  • Lingrids, linpact panels, linrods (lintec proprietary products)

Design and specification of wear linings

Experienced technical personnel from Lintec will evaluate the application parameters in order to advise best wear solutions. This can be done by means of site visits and/or taking detailed information from the client. We will assess potential or present wear, along with other factors, to optimise the type and design of lining and/or fabrications needed, while at all times keeping the client's budget in mind.

Fabrication and lining installation

Lintec Engineering's fabrication facilities are used exclusively for items requiring wear linings. We are proficient in fabricating and lining various machinery, most commonly: agitators, branches, chutes, classifiers, cones, cyclones, ejectors, fans, feeders, floppers, lauders, manifolds, mills, pipes, pipe bends, pulleys, silos, splitter boxes, spoons, square bends, square to round, troughs, trunions, T & Y pieces and venturis.
