Ice detection for wind turbines

Our strongest field of expertise in recent years has been ice detectors for wind turbines. As wind power is becoming more common, the need for solutions to improve arctic turbine safety and reliability has grown exponentially. Labkotec's ice detectors have become leaders in the market. The same technology is also used by airports and weather stations to predict freezing rain more accurately.

Level instruments

Level measurement has been at the core of our competence right from the start. We were pioneers in level gauges for water and oil. We have also developed electronic alarm devices for oil separators and Labkotec is the current European market leader in this field.
Our competence in the instrumentation of environments with explosive atmospheres, gained through the gauging of oil and liquid fuel levels, has in time proved essential to our strong orientation toward international markets. We provide equipment and systems with Atex, Ex and Eex classifications to explosive environments as well as gauge and control equipment complying with ISPS standards to tightly monitored locations such as harbours and airports.

Flow measuring technology

We now also supply the most accurate flow measuring technology in the market, which can be used both in pipes and open channels. In addition to the flow volume, the system provides information on the surface level and profile of the flow. We also produce versatile and user-friendly water analysis equipment for both drinking water and sewage.
