The North Sea oil boom started in the seventies when Esbjerg became the centre of the Danish oil activities.

Since the early years, Blue Water has worked for clients supplying drilling equipment to the oil industry with shipments ranging from small courier parcels containing o-rings to project transport of complete oil rigs.

Wind turbine shipments

In addition to project jobs for the oil industry, at our head office in Esbjerg we have developed great expertise in handling and transporting windmills. A project department has been set up which, together with our shipbroking department and stevedore foremen, handles an increasing amount of wind turbine shipments and transport of other large constructions.
