Power generation access lifts

Alimak Hek has provided over 1,000 access lifts to the power industry for more than 40 years. Improving access to chimneys, boilers, silos and other power operations with an Alimak access solution increases labour efficiency, reducing the manpower required to complete planned outages and routine maintenance. Oil & gas lifts for derricks and hull columns

We delivered the first Alimak lift unit to the offshore industry in 1974 for installation on an Aker H-3 design semi-submersible. Since then, hundreds of Alimak lifts have been installed on derricks, in hull columns, outside platform modules and underneath helicopter decks. They provide convenient access to pump and machine rooms and other critical areas.

Explosion protected lifts

We supplied our first lift in 1975 to the Kuwait National Petroleum C.O. company.

Mine shafts and mine lifts

The Alimak lift is the perfect solution for both underground and surface mining industry applications, such as pelletising plants, smelters, concentrators, and other ore processing plants. Hundreds of Alimak lifts have been delivered to a variety of mine applications around the world, including the Aitik copper mine in Sweden where seven lifts have been installed. The deepest situated lift was for SNU Project, Sudbury, Canada, 2,300m below ground level.
