BHEL Wins INR26,300m Contract To Equip Two 525MW Units In Orissa

State-run BHEL, a power generation equipment maker, has bagged INR26,300m order from Monnet Power Company (MPCL) for the extended Boiler Turbine Generator (BTG) package for an upcoming Thermal Power Project (TPP) in Orissa.
The order is for a greenfield power project, located at Malibrahmani in Angul district of Orissa. The order involves two new-rating units of 525MW each.
The company's scope of work in the present contract includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of Steam Turbines, Generators and Boilers, along with associated Auxiliaries and Mechanical and Electrical packages, besides Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) and Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs).
