Alstom Receives Contract From Lanco Infratech To Install New Hydro Power Plant In India
Alstom Projects India Ltd. (Alstom), a majority owned subsidiary company of Alstom SA, has received a contract worth INR2.65 billion from Lanco Infratech Limited (Lanco Infratech) to install a new hydro power plant on Teesta River, in Sikkim region, India. The electricity output of this new 500 megawatt (MW) plant will be connected to the country’s power grid.
